IMPORTANT – REACH LENGTH

A common mistake made is ordering the overall length of tubing that you need rather than the reach length. Reach is the measurement from the base of the skimmer down into the tank, not the overall length of the tube, which is approximately double the reach plus another 14”. For example, a reach length of 11” is actually an overall length of tubing that is 36” in circumference. See SPECS diagram on the Specifications tab for help with the measurement.

ORDERING INFORMATION

Please note that pricing is tiered based on the reach length you need. The most common reach lengths, 8”, 11”, and 14″, are set up with their own part number for ease of ordering. If you need a longer reach length, please select the item number with the range that meets your reach requirements. Reach lengths are available in 3” increments. For example, if you need a reach length of 20”, you would select the Z-ZVA8-17 to 29 part number and specify in the order comments section that you need the 20” reach.

Recommended Accessory
Any skimmer running continuously with little or no oil on the top of the tank will start skimming off coolant.
