ACCESSORIES
The Microzone CD550 does not move the air through itself. It MUST be paired with either a Mazzei-type injector (which pulls the air) or a compressor or aerator (which pushes the air).
The least expensive option is to pair it with a small aquarium-type pump, such as the Zebra XBUB Oygenator™ aerator.

ClearWater Tech offers only the larger air compressors, the OAS7 and OAS20.

Adding a Mazzei-type injector can be tricky. Injection manifolds must be sized based on actual flow rate, pressure, and air flow suction for the application in which it is intended.
ClearWater Tech injection systems use only Mazzei injectors for maximum mass transfer efficiency. The injector produces a cavitation effect, enabling the ozone gas to join the water stream in the form of extremely tiny bubbles. These bubbles must be as small as possible in order to increase the ratio of bubble surface area to the amount of ozone entering the water.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Over time, the diffuser may become clogged and result in air compressor damage. It is recommended that the diffuser is cleaned once a month by submersing it in a solution of 50% water and 50% muriatic acid for a few hours. Rinse thoroughly with water before re-installing.
